What unnegligible details should we notice while making paper printing artwork?

In the industry of printing and packaging, as everyone knows, the artwork is the basis and soul of printing. As a printing factory who just accept fully customized and artwork printing, we have found some easily forgotten details when our customer making the artwork, especially for the books and the boxes, and these details will make the artwork can not be ready for printing. In order to let the printing projects more smoothly and saving the precious time of each other, we have arranged some unnegligible details as below:

1: Bleeding—please remember to add at least 3MM or 1/8 inches bleeding at each four sides of the artwork. It can be work for books and boxes and cards,etc..The bleeding area is the most easily overlooked place while artwork making. For your reference, please kindly see the picture of the bleeding area as below:

2: Text safe area—please rememver to leave 0.25 inches to 0.5 inches area from the edge of your document, if not, the text will be very easy to cut. Especially for the coffee table books or magazines, but the notebooks relatively few such problems arise.

3: The resolution—please remember that the DPI of the images must be reach at least 300dpi, if not, it will be indistinct after printing. A lot of customers who wants to print the books with many pictures will be easily to ignore this detail, which is the very important for printing.
