There are 7 kind of material, such as common coated paper ( glossy coated paper, l matte coated paper ), leather material , cloth material, imitated leather paper and imitated cloth paper and special paper these 7 types. For the cover finished of custom hardcover book printing is glossy / matte lamination , gold/ silver foil stamping , silk screen printing, UV finished, debossed and embossed. If you need you can have dust-jacket and gold corners for the book. All of these depends on your design and your budget.

For the custom softcover book printing, the cover material is less than hardcover book, it can be glossy / matte art paper, and one side glossy art paper. What is the difference between custom hardcover book printing and custom softcover book printing? The reason is their cover. The hardness and thickness of them are different.There will be 1 sheet grey board will mounted with the paper to strengthen the cover.But the softcover book, its binding will be flexible according to there thickness of the inner pages. It can be saddle stitching binding , perfect binding and perfect binding with section sewn binding.

For the custom book printing, most of text book and some novels and some magazines will be perfect binding but some magazine and booklet , brochures, catalog will be saddle stitching binding.
