But the spine is round and square. Exactly, hardcover case bound with round spine will be more expensive than square spine. Cause round spine will be more difficult than square spine. But most of our clients prefer square spine.

Second one is Hidden wire-o binding for hardcover book printing. Why is hidden. Cause the wire-o rings is inside the hardcover back. Just like the pictures, Wire-o binding is the same as hardcover back, can make round spine and square spine. The third one is spiral binding for hardcover book printing. It is the same as wire-o binding, the only difference is that wire-o binding is double rings but spiral binding is single ring.

How to tell from these binding for hardcover book printing? Hardcover case bound is with section sewn and H&T. You can find the H&T on the top and bottom of spine. Wire-o binding is double rings but spiral binding is single rings.

One more thing, for the hardcover book printing. Some clients will misunderstand perfect binding is hardcover case bound binding. Because they think perfect binding must be durable and strong. In fact, perfect binding is paperback binding. How to tell from hardcover case bound and paperback binding? Hardcover case bound is with gray board on cover while paperback binding is without.
